A few spots of rain at the start of proceedings but nothing to dampen the spirits of the faithful for the first major event of Easter Week (Semana Santa – Holy Week), the Palm Sunday (Domingo de Ramos) procession from La Ermita de Ntra.Sra. de las Angustias in Plaza de la Ermita to the iglesia El Salvador on the Balcón de Europa.
The procession wound its way from Plaza de la Ermita down calle Angustias, calle Pintada and calle Puerta del Mar before ending in front of the church on the Balcón de Europa.
