An explosion this morning in the town of Amorebieta, Vizcaya, is thought to have been the work of the Basque separatist organisation ETA. No-one was hurt in the blast and there was little material damage.
The explosion occurred at 01:00 this morning in calle Betarragane outside the home of Juan Manuel Arana, president of Astilleros Murueta. Although not a politician, Arana is included in a group of people thought to be at potential risk from a terrorist attack.
The bomb was a small, limited power device and caused just minor damage to a wall.
