The fishing fleets in the Gulf of Cádiz are back in business after a three month layoff, one month longer than normal.
The enforced ‘unemployment’ of the fishermen is as a result of the annual biological break, a time when fish stocks are allowed to recover sufficiently to take another pounding. The fishermen will now be hoping for bigger and better quality catches to make up for things.
