The Torrox Beach Plan 2008, approved yesterday by the Municipal Council, includes the use of auxiliaries for beach security and a play area for the disabled at El Morche.
Civil Defence volunteers specialising in security will be responsible for informing the police of any incidents on the beaches in Torrox as well as providing information to bathers and ensuring that people adhere to beach regulations.
In El Morche, a play area for those with mobility problems will be set up. The area will have access to the shore for bathing and specially designed changing facilities.
