José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero will today be invested as Prime Minister of Spain after a second vote takes place in Congress. He becomes the first person winning a General Election to actually need a second vote.
The second vote, which under Spanish law cannot take place until 48 hours after the first vote, will probably take place around 13:00 today. It should be a formality as only a simple majority is required and, presumably, all his party will vote for him.
