Tomorrow sees the start of the first major feria of the year in the Guadalhorce valley with six days of festivities.
Cártama is the scene of the first major feria of the year in the Guadalhorce valley and is, as usual, in honour of the patron saint, Nuestra Señora de los Remedios.
All but one of the feria days will take place in the area between Cártama Pueblo and Cártama Station, the exception being a day of festivities centred in the Santo Cristo park.
The Council is laying on loads of free buses to ferry people back and forth and the local Wally Trolley will also be making numerous trips between 12:00 and 20:00 each day. There will also, for the first time, be a taxi rank set up at the foot of the feria ground.
