Almost half of the one million euro bail money which allowed Juan Antonio Roca to leave prison was provided by his 19 year old son.
The one million pound bail paid by Juan Antonio Roca to gain his freedom after nearly two years behind bars was raised in eighteen days by a group of eight of his friends and family. His youngest son, aged 19 years, provided €410,100 of the total amount, other major contributors allegedly being one of his lawyers and a former president of Xerez football club.
Juan Antonio Roca, the alleged brains behind the corruption in Marbella, is now, of course, back behind bars in relation to a different corruption case, bail having been increased from the original €450,000, which he paid, to €3 million.
Roca, denied bail for so long, only tasted a mere week of freedom following the somewhat controversial decision of a judge to finally allow bail.
Looks like Brains Junior will have to raid his piggy bank again!
