World number two Rafael Nadal fought back to claim his fourth consecutive Monte Carlo Masters title with a 7-5, 7-5 victory over Roger Federer.
Nadal has now won seven of the last eight matches with Federer on clay courts and also became the first winner of four consecutive Monte Carlo titles since 1914.
Nadal found himself 0-4 down in the second set but produced some stunning tennis to claw his way back and eventually close out the set and the match.
