The Guardia Civil arrested a lorry driver after he tested positive for alcohol, the level being nine times the permitted amount for professional drivers.
Several people had reported seeing a 38 ton lorry being driven along the A-7 expressway in a zig-zag fashion and the Guardia Civil went to investigate. When they found the culprit, he apparently showed all the signs of being under the influence of alcohol and was duly breathalised. The result was a level nine times that permitted for professional drivers and he was subsequently arrested and charged with a crime against road safety.
