It’s all going down to the wire in Division Two, both at the top and at the bottom with only one promotion place and two relegation slots actually decided.
The Blue and Whites were the only team in the top four not lo lose, but they didn’t win either, drawing 0-0 with Granada 74. That puts Málaga back into second place but they need a win in their final match, at home to Tenerife, to be certain of promotion. Granada 74, however, are now relegated as they have a bad head to head record against the only two teams they could theoretically catch.
Poli Ejido are also destined for Division B football next season after a 0-0 draw with Albacete. Any two of six teams could join them in the lower division, with Alaves and Racing Ferrol currently occupying the remaining two relegation slots, and thus favourites for the drop.
Two goals in injury time saw Alaves beat Real Sociedad 3-2 after Real had twice taken the lead. Sporting Gijon, the other contender for promotion, lost 1-0 to Castellón.
