A boat carrying 68 unwanted sub-Saharan visitors has arrived in Motril port and amongst the passengers were seven women and six children aged between 1 and 2 years.
The boat was spotted about 33 miles off the Motril coast by a Finnish patrol which then notified the local Marine Service. The passengers were given the once-over by the Red Cross and found to be in generally good health, although some were suffering a little from cold.
All are now in the hands of the National Police for further processing and repatriation to their countries of origin.
