Young athletes from the Cueva de Nerja-Uma athletics club came away with six medals from the Andalucían Championships held in Ounta Umbria, Huelva.
Laura García was proclaimed Champion of Andalucía in the pole vault with a personal best of 2m 15, Bélen Lara collected silver in the long jump and bronze in the triple jump, Pablo Riu claimed silver in the 1,000 metres and bronze in the 220 metres hurdles and Miguel Ángel Fregenal took bronze in the javelin with a throw of 30.69 metres.
