It would seem that local agricultural organisations, affected by the strike by lorry drivers amongst other things, will be giving away 12,000 kilos of fruit and veg tomorrow!!
The giving away of produce and products is quite a common practice in Spain, especially as a form of protest! Just waiting for a protest about the price of Ferraris!
Tomorrow morning, in Plaza de la Ermita, it’s ‘bring a bag’ time as the local farmers give away, free gratis and for nothing, around 12,000 kilos of produce. The great ‘give away’ starts at 09:30.
