Suicide has been completely ruled out in the case of a top executive of the BBVA bank in Andalucia who was found dead at his chalet in Bollullos de la Mitación (Sevilla) on Monday.
Andrés Toro Barea, aged 59 years, was found dead at his chalet in Bollullos de la Mitación. The cause of death was internal bleeding caused by two bullet wounds to the chest which penetrated the lungs. The shots were fired at short range by a handgun, which was not found at the scene, and there was neither signs of a struggle nor indications of forced entry into the chalet, all these factors leading the police to rule out suicide.
Andrés Toro Barea had been with the bank his whole working life and was currently working in the ‘special recoveries’ area, dealing with clients whose repayments were in arrears. The recent downturn in the economy had resulted in a significant increase in workload during the past few weeks.
