National Police officers in Marbella have arrested a 42 year old British man accused of committing 14 sexual assaults in the UK.
Peter C. was detained under a European Arrest Warrant on charges of inappropriate sexual behaviour, sexual abuse, rape and assault with penetration. The victims, including his own daughter, were aged between 11 and 17 years at the time of the offences.
Peter C. has been wanted by the British police since 1989 after groping a young girl at a birthday party. The girl did not report the crime until 2003 for fear of reprisals.
During the period 2004 to 2006, five children were assaulted, each being abused on more than one occasion. Peter C. faces 10 to 14 years in prison if convicted.
