The Ministry of Public Works is putting out to tender a project to carry out improvements to the Torrox highway tunnel.
The project has a budget of €2,377,232.45 and a completion period of three months and includes the installation of a 1.5 metre thick reinforced concrete inverted arch, a drainage system, resurfacing of the road and new lighting and wiring.
The stretch of road affected is at km 288 in the direction of Algeciras.
