Peace talks between the Market Traders and the Nerja Council, scheduled for today, have been postponed until next week.
Talks between the Market Traders Association, AVAM, and the Nerja Council were due to take place today but have been postponed until next week, possibly now taking place on Monday.
The reason for the postponement is the fact that the mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, is unavailable today but wishes to attend the meeting. The market traders have been refusing to set up their stalls at the new site in Almijara since the anouncement of the move five weeks ago.
