Andalucía has augmented its Guardia Civil police force by 343 officers.
At an incorporation ceremony held in Sevilla, the interior minister, Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba, the director general of the Police and Civil Guard, Francisco Javier Velásquez, and senior vice president and advisor to the Presidenct of the Junta de Andalucía, Gaspar Zarrias, welcomed the 343 new officers into the force.
Almería is getting the most from the new batch, 81 officers, followed by Sevilla with 63, Granada with 54, Málaga with 39, Cádiz with 39, Huelva 35, Córdoba with 19 and Jaén with 13.
Presumably Jaén is the province with the least amount of crime and therefore the safest province in which to reside!
