The Marine Rescue Service has rescued 36 sub-Saharan alternative tourists about 14 miles south of Adra, Almería. They had apparently been adrift for some time and it was one of the passengers who used his mobile to contact the authorities.
Amongst those aboard were four women and at least four minors. The boat had left Alhucemas in Morocco several days earlier.
All are saod to be in good health and are now awaiting further processing.
