At least 100 people are thought to have died in the plane crash at Madrid’s Barajas airport this afternoon although the final death toll is not yet known.
There were 172 people on board Spanair flight JK 5022 when it skidded off the runway during take-off and it is feared that the death toll could be as high as 150.
