Seven people have been injured in a bomb explosion at the Ertzaintza station in Ondarroa, Vizcaya. It was the second bomb attack in the past few hours.
The bomb exploded at 04:30 this morning outside the Ertzaintza police station in calle Zaldubide, Ondarroa injuring seven people, three of them police officers. There was no prior warning received before the bomb exploded.
The wounded were taken to the Galdakao and Cruces hospitals. Their injuries are said to be minor.
The bomb caused major material damage in the area, especially to the police station.
Earlier, around midnight, a bomb exploded outside the Caja Vital offices in Vitoria. 0n this occasion, a telephone warning was received and it was possible to avoid injuries, although there was a fair amount of material damage.
