The Councillor for Infrastructure, José Alberto Tomé, has been meeting with the residents of Maro to discuss the next proposed building project in the area. It is, of course, a roundabout. Two, in fact, a big one and a small one.
The project, designed to resolve the problems associated with crossing the old N-340 when coming from the beach road, will cost €300,000 and has a completion period of six months. It is hoped to start work some time in October and, if all goes to plan, it would all be finished before next summer. LOL.
