A few nervous moments before the final whistle, but the Blue and Whites managed their first victory of the season, finding the net at long last!
Lolo scored Málaga’s first goal of the season after half an hour and Adrián got the second. Pedro León pulled one back for Valladolid, but the Blue and Whites held on to win 2-1.
Valencia are back on top of the pile, David Villa scoring twice in a 4-2 win over Deportivo. Mata and Joaquin were the other scores for Valencia, Deportivo’s goals coming courtesy of an own goal by Moretti and one from one of their own players, Lafita.
Luis Fabiano got the only goal of the match to give Sevilla a 1-0 win over Atlético Madrid, a victory which sees Sevilla back in the top four.
In Division Two, Salamanca now lead the way after a 1-0 victory over Castellón, moving swiftly up from fifth place.
