The Guardia Civil in Roquetas de Mar has located and detained three men accused of harbouring and concealing Juan José Orihuela, the 26 year old who confessed to the killing of Senegalese immigrant Ousmane Kote.
The killing of Ousmane Kote, who had tried to intervene to stop a brawl, sparked several nights of rioting in Roquetas de Mar. Orihuela, also known as ‘El Bollo’, was apparently not involved in the early stages of the brawl but was, by his own admission, the person who delivered the fatal stab wound.
He spent 16 days hiding in a remote area, the three detainees allegedly hiding him and helping him to evade capture.
