An earthquake registering 3.8 on the Richter scale was felt in many parts of Andalucía this morning.
The quake was felt in Sevilla, Cádiz, Córdoba, Málaga and Jaén. There were two smaller quakes at 02:00 and 04:00, but the main one occurred at 06:02, with further tremors at 06:05, 06:08 and 07:15.
The epicentres were in Morón de la Frontera, Sevilla, at depths of between 5 and 10 kilometres. The Local Police in Morón de la Frontera received numerous calls from nervous residents but there has been no report, so far, of any serious damage.
