Sevilla are third in the table, a nice 4-0 win against Athletic Bilbao giving them a boost, with Barcelona now in fourth place, just ahead of their arch rivals Real Madrid. Only on goal difference, though. Real were held to a 2-2 draw by visitors Espanyol.
In Division Two, Hércules are back on top after a 2-1 victory against Zaragoza on Saturday. Tote and Paz scored early in the second half, Gabi getting one back for the visitors. Zaragoza could have earned a draw, but a late penalty taken by Oliveira was saved by Calatayud.
In the Primera Andaluza Grupo 3, local lads Nerja CD slipped up again and rop down to sixth place and are now four points behind the leaders, Torremolinos. Nerja hosted C.D. Vilches who went away with the three points, the scoreline being 1-2.
Torremolinos travelled to Puerta C.D. and came away with the spoils, winning 3-4.
