Thirty-one North African tourists making their own way to Spain are now staying in the hospitality suite of the National Police in Almería after having had their free medical, courtesy of the Red Cross.
All male, and possibly with minors amongst them, they were met by a Guardia Civil ‘welcome’ boat near the island of Alborán and enjoyed an aerial display by a Marine Rescue helicopter as they made their way to port.
After a brief stay in Spain, their hosts will ensure that they get safely back to from whence they came.
