LTE International, a Spanish based airline flying to the UK, Saudi Arabia and Italy, has suspended flights after getting itself into serious financial difficulties.
Airline employees were told of the company’s difficulties via a text message on their mobile phones. The Spanish Civil Aviation Authority is due to decide whether or not to suspend LTE’s operating licence
The company has been in existence for 20 years, runs (or did!) a fleet of seven Airbus 300’s and employs around 300 staff.
