Work has now started in Marbella on the new roundabout at the Trapiche junction, one of the roads into the town from the A-7 highway.
The roundabout will replace the existing traffic light system, the aim being to reduce the frequent tailbacks on this road.
The €1.1 million project is scheduled for completion by the end of the year. In the meantime, drivers are advised to use the Nagüeles or Ojén exits as alternative routes into Marbella until the work is completed.
