Tourism figures for Andalucía for the third trimester show a decline in numbers of around 2.6%.
There was a total of 9,020,000 visitors, of whom 61.6% were resident in Spain.

Reasons for visit: 92.2% for vacation, 4.6% visiting family or friends, 1.8% for business purposes.
Accommodation: 57.3% stayed in hostels, 34.2% in apartments or villas, 6.2% chose campsites and 2.3% stayed in youth hostels or other accommodation.
Most popular provinces: Málaga with 37.4% of the tourists, Cádiz 17.5% and Granada 10.4%.
Average spending: €57.46 per person per day (€51.23 for Andalucían tourists, €65 by tourists from abroad).
Average stay: 11.2 days.
