A robber has been shot dead and a policeman injured in a shootout at the Bon Sabor supermarket in calle Eduardo Dato in Sevilla.
The policeman, who happened to be in the supermarket when the youth attempted his robbery, was shot twice in the abdomen after the robber opened fire. The robber was shot dead. It’s not known at this point whether the policeman was on or off duty.
The 54 year old National Police officer is now in the Hospital Virgen del Rocío in Sevilla.
