All the five top clubs in La Liga registered victories, so no change at the top of the table. Villarreal beat Almería 2-1, Valencia travelled to Getafe and won 0-3 and Sevilla overcame Recreativo by a single goal.
In Division Two, Salamanca are back on top after a 2-0 win over Alicante, Hércules dropping back to second after a 0-0 draw with Xerez.
In the Primera Andaluza Grupo 3, C.D. Nerja played out a goalless draw in Torremolinos and are currently lying sixth in the table. Mancha Real lead the way from El Palo, these two drawing 0-0 at the weekend. Álcala lost again, but do seem to be letting in far less goals these days, this time only losing 3-0 to La Puerta CD. Álcala have now, after only ten matches, hit the fifty goals mark. Unfortunately, though, it’s goals conceded. On the bright side, if they score another 48, they’ll also hit the fifty goals scored mark!
