Real Madrid are out of the Copa del Rey, despite a hat-trick from Raúl and despite winning 4-3 on the night against minnows Real Unión de Irún.
The Basque side twice took the lead in the first half but were pegged back each time by an on-form Raúl. With just four minutes to go, the scoreline was 4-2 and it looked like Madrid would go through, but a ninetieth minute goal from Romo made it 4-3 and Real Unión de Irún were suddenly the happy bunnies, winning on the away goals rule.
