Three bouncers at a Madrid nightclub have been detained following the death of an 18 year old boy.
The Emergency Services were called to El Balcón de Rosales discoteque in the paseo del Pintor Rosales at around 05:30 on Saturday morning after someone called to report a fight. When the medics arrived, the boy was lying on the ground in cardiac arrest.
Various attempts were made to resuscitate him and he was rushed to hospital in a critical condition. However, he died a short while later.
Some customers at the nightclub stated that they ‘presumed’ the boy had been beaten up by the bouncers, hence the three security men were detained by the police.
According to a statement issued by the Emergency Services, however, the boy apparently showed no external signs of violence and there was no signs of blood from any part of the body.
