Three more officers have joined the Local Police force in Torrox, bringing the total number to thirty-five. Three others also joined the force fairly recently and the goal is to bring the total number of officers up to forty by 2011.
Torrox has a population of around 20,000, with roughly 7,000 being foreigners.
