Saturday December 6th is Constitution Day, a public holiday. Not only that, but it is also the 30th Anniversary of the Spanish Constitution, and the Nerja Council are planning a few official events in the Plenary Hall of the Town Hall.
11:30 – Reading of an Institutional Declaration agreed upon by all political groups.
11:45 – The Nerja Municipal Band will give a short concert.
12:00 – Official raising of the flags.
There will be four flags, Spanish, Andalusian, Nerja and European, and these will be hoisted by representatives from the areas of culture, social, sports and charity.
Cultural Association – Casa Argentina, flag to be hoisted by its president, Oscar Sanchez.
Social – AFADINE Association, flag to be hoisted by its president, Paqui Medina.
Sports Association – Club Deportivo Futbol sala, flag to be hoisted by its president, Daniel Rivas.
Charitable Association – Lions Club of Nerja, flag to be hoisted by its president, Martin Coppa.
