Applications can now be made for one of the next twelve VPO (Council subsidised) houses to be built in Nerja. The closing date for applications is January 19th 2009.
There are:
- 9 houses available to anyone registered as a resident in Nerja prior to 1/1/2003 and who has continuously lived in the municipality since that date.
- 1 house for anyone with a disability (33%) who has been registered as a resident in Nerja prior to 1/1/2003 and who has continuously lived in the municipality since that date.
- 1 house for a victim of domestic violence, with dependent children, who has been registered as a resident in Nerja prior to 1/1/2003 and who has continuously lived in the municipality since that date.
- 1 house for anyone not registered on the padrón (census) or who registered after 1/1/2003.
Application forms can be obtained from the Oficina de Atención al Ciudadano in the Town Hall building in calle Carmen.
Completed forms for numbers 1, 2 and 4 should go to the Town Hall (ground floor), and for number 3 they should go to the Centro de Información a la Mujer (Information Centre for Women).
