Vélez-Málaga Council has approved a new ordinance which will permit residents in the municipality to pay their IBI tax for 2009 in installments.
The new ordinance establishes two possibilities for payment in installments. One is for payment in two installments, in April and October, the other is for payments in nine installments from April to November.
The Council is also looking at the possibility of applying the same criteria to the payment of vehicle road tax.
