Málaga Council has approved ten infrastructure improvement projects in nine municipalities and will be providing funding to the tune of €316,554. The projects are in Periana, Guaro, Benarrabá, Gaucín, Riogordo, Cartajima, Alpandeire, Campillos and Totalán.
Periana will receive €30,000 for the first phase of a sanitation project for the villages and €24,839.81 for the completion of Plaza Rafael Alberti.
Rio Gordo is to get €23,838.56 for the construction of niches in the cemetery.
Totalán will get €18,868.28 for the paving of the Paseo de la Salud.
Guaro is to get €66,500 from the Málaga Council towards the first phase of improvements to be made to calle Cerrillo. The total project cost in this case is €70,000 and Guaro Council itself will provide the remaining €3,500.
Campillos will benefit from an investment of €35,000 for improvements to the water supply network in the San Benito district.
Benarrabá will get €14,066 towards a project to install electricity in Puerto de las Eras.
Gaucín will get €67,544.42 for paving in the Barrio del Carmen.
Cartajima will receive €17,917.84 for improvements to the Plaza Municipal and Alpandeire will get €17,979.22 ho help complete the Tourist Office.
