Police in Ecija, Sevilla, have arrested two people and siezed over 75,000 counterfeit items in raids on three warehouses.
Two of the warehouses were on the Campiña industrial estate, the other was on the Cañada del Rosal road.
The investigation into the distribution of counterfeit goods began in mid-December. Amongst the items seized were 60,000 watches bearing brands such as Nike, Breitling, Calvin Klein, Cartier, Omega, Gucci, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste, Tag Heuer, Bulgari, Ferrari Siena and Christian Dior, 15,000 counterfeit caps and 450 bicycles bearing the badges of Spanish football clubs.
The two detainees, Eugene R.I. and Rafael D.R., both have previous arrests to their names.
