Eight away wins in a row for Barcelona as they maintain their twelve point lead at the top of La Liga with a 2-3 victory over bottom club Osasuna.
Eto’o opened the scoring on the stroke of half time, but then goals from Flaño and Pandiani put the home side ahead. Barcelona were not to be denied, however, first equalising through Xavi and then grabbing the three points with a late goal from Messi.
Real Madrid are back up to second spot, ahead of Sevilla on goal difference, after beating Mallorca 3-0. Robben got the first goal after only three minutes, and that was followed up a few minutes later by another goal, this time from Raúl.
Sergio Ramos made it three with a goal in the second half.
The Blue and Whites are up to eighth after a late win against Betis. Apoño opened the scoring from the penalty spot and then Betis were reduced to ten men after Melli was ejected from the field of play by the referee.
Emaná mangaged to grab an equaliser before he,too, was given his marching orders for a second bookable offence. Betis, now down to nine men, held Málaga at bay until injury time when Eliseu struck the winning goal.
Xerez are back at the top of Division Two after beating Tenerife 2-0, Momo and Calle the scorers.
In the Primera Andaluza Grupo 3, C.D. Nerja consolidated third place with a 2-3 win away to Torre del Mar. They’re in the play-off spots but are 12 points adrift of second placed El Palo, who were 6-1 winners against La Puerta, and 15 points behind Mancha Real, who were 2-1 winners against Alhaurín Torre.
