From now until February 21st, calle Marqués de Larios is home to 16 sculptures by Baltasar Lobo.
The pieces were sculpted during the period 1962 to 1991 and are cast in bronze.
The exhibition is entitled ‘Baltasar Lobo. Al sol de Málaga’ and involved bringing sculptures from Italy, France, Luxembourg and Venezuela where they were on display in private collections.
Although renowned in many parts of the world, Baltasar Lobo, a Zamorran, is relatively unknown in his native Spain. The sculptures range in size from 1.30 metres to 1.80 metres and vary from the natural to the abstract.
