Marbella Council has given the green light for the demolition of two illegal constructions begun during the Gil era in the municipality. These two, however, are likely to be the only demolitions to take place.
The two structures, in the Altavista area of San Pedro de Alcántara and in Rio Real, were unlicensed and are on land designated for parks and gardens under the 1986 PGOU. Neither structure was ever finished.
