It is now eighteen days since the disappearance of seventeen year old sevillana Marta del Castillo and still no solid clues as to her whereabouts.
Police searches continue around the area where she lived but many believe the authorities should be using more manpower, and more tracker dogs, in their efforts to find the girl. Some 3,000 people recently demonstrated on the streets of Sevilla, calling for more action.
The police effort is now more centred on the assumption that Marta did not disappear voluntarily and they believe that computers may hold a vital clue. The police have already seized computers belonging to Marta herself, her father and her grandfather and are being scrutinised by experts.
Several people have been questioned during the investigation, but so far no arrests and no solid clues.
