Today is the Burial of the Sardine, with a procession and a firework display.
The route is: Balcón de Europa, calle Pintada, calle La Cruz, calle Animas, calle Granada, calle Diputación, calle Jaén, Verano Azul and down to the Rio Chillar for the firework display.
The procession will include the ‘widow’ and there will be much wailing and crying as usual. Starts, theoretically, at 17:30.
