One man died and another is seriously ill in hospital after a shooting incident in Santa Fe, Granada province. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon and is thought to have been the result of a squabble over inheritance money.
A 21 year old was shot in the chest and died from his wounds. His father, aged 53 years, suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen and is currently in the Hospital Ruiz de Alda where his condition is described as ‘serious’.
The alleged perpetrator of the shooting, a 46 year old man with initials A.M.H., has been arrested by the Guardia Civil. He is believed to be related to the victims, all of whom are ethnic gypsies.
