Leading by example, that’s what we like to see. The new Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Sir Paul Stephenson (or is it Jacques Clouseau?) made a brilliant start as he personally led a team of 80 police officers on a raid to catch a gang of burglars.
At the house of the suspected ringleader, a helicopter hovered overhead as officers battered down the door to find….it was empty. It turns out the gang had already been arrested a few hours earlier. At least it can only get better!
