Raids on several premises in Benalmádena have resulted in the arrest of two individuals on charges of crimes against the public health and unlawful possession of weapons.
Simultaneous police raids on several homes and garages resulted in the seizure of 2,100 kilos of hashish, €120,000 in cash, 4 semi-automatic pistols, a silencer, ammunition, ski masks, four vehicles, several mobile phones (naturally) and various documents.
The detainees are Mauro P., a 37 year old Italian with a history of violent crime in Spain, and Yves C., a 56 year old Frenchman with a criminal record in France which includes a jail sentence for murder.
