The Irish airline Aer Lingus is to begin flights between Málaga and Gatwick, with three flights per day.
From Málaga the flights will be at 10:40, 16:00 and 22:00, with the flights from Gatwick being at 06:10, 11:30 and 17:30. Tickets are onsale via their website and cost from €24.99 one way including taxes and fees.
Aer Lingus, who already operate flights to Cork, Dublin and Belfast, hope to increase the frequency of flights on existing routes as well as introducing this new route, the aim being to increase its carrying capacity from 1.4 to 1.8 million per year.
