Sunday April 26th is the XXII Dia de la Morcilla (Day of the Black Pudding) in Canillas de Aceituno. The festival coincides with the celebration of the Fiesta de la Virgen de la Cabeza, the patron saint of the town.
It all starts at 10:00 with the municipal band marching through the streets, followed by a Mass in the church and then a procession through the streets.
There will be ample supplies of sausage (350 kilos) on offer as well as copious amounts of wine and beer to help wash it down.
